About CORE Fitness Centre

CORE Fitness Centre runs around the clock, open 24 hours every day of the week -- a schedule that, combined with an address on Jalan Dutamas 2 in the Dutamas area and a website domain referencing Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur, indicates a gym operating as part of a hotel property rather than a standalone commercial fitness chain. The linked website itself turned out to be a loyalty-rewards redemption page rather than a page describing the gym, so there's no brand copy to draw from here -- everything below comes from the Google Business Profile rather than any marketing description.

The facility list is unusually broad for a city gym: alongside the expected restroom and shower, Google's tags note child care, a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, and a sauna -- a combination that reads more like a hotel's guest amenity floor than a typical pay-as-you-go fitness studio. That spread of amenities, especially the pool and child care together, is a package usually reserved for hotel residents and members rather than drop-in visitors off the street, and it's a larger amenity list than almost any other listing in this batch of fifteen.

At 5 stars from 49 reviews, the centre has a clean rating history, though a rating this high at a hotel-affiliated gym often reflects a guest or member base with higher expectations already met by the surrounding property rather than a pure gauge of the equipment or trainers alone. There's no public detail here on day passes, membership tiers, or whether outside guests can access the facility at all -- anyone not already staying at or affiliated with the Hyatt Regency would need to call ahead and ask directly rather than assume walk-in access, since the round-the-clock hours don't necessarily mean open-door access for the general public. The redemption-page website, oddly enough, tells you more about a hotel rewards program than it does about the actual gym floor. Compared with the other 24-hour listing in this batch, Cheras's MJA Boxing & Fitness, CORE's amenity list is far more elaborate -- a contrast that comes down to one being a hotel facility and the other a standalone combat-fitness gym rather than any real difference in how either one is run day to day.

Frequently asked questions

Is WiFi available on the gym floor?

Not universal, especially at smaller independent gyms — check the Facilities section on this page or ask if it matters for your workout routine.

Do they offer nutrition or diet coaching?

Some gyms bundle basic nutrition guidance with personal training packages; others don’t touch it at all. It’s a separate service worth asking about specifically.

Does CORE Fitness Centre have showers on site?

Yes — showers are listed among the facilities on their Google Business Profile, useful if you're training around a work schedule.

How reliable is CORE Fitness Centre's Google rating?

CORE Fitness Centre holds a 5.0 rating from 49 Google reviews — a reasonable, if modest, sample size that reflects genuine member experience rather than a handful of early ratings.

Is CORE Fitness Centre open 24 hours?

Yes — this location is listed as open 24 hours on its Google Business Profile, though staffed front-desk hours may still be limited. Worth confirming if you're relying on staff assistance outside normal business hours.

Can I freeze or pause my membership?

Many gyms allow a membership freeze for travel or injury, usually for a small fee or with advance notice. It’s a policy question worth asking before you sign up, not after.
