About Anytime Fitness Nexis

Inside Sunway Nexis in Dataran Sunway, this Anytime Fitness location follows the brand's standard formula: 24-hour access as part of a global network the company says spans more than 6,000 clubs worldwide, plus the usual key-fob or app entry that lets members train at any hour without staff present. The franchise model means a lot of the equipment and layout will feel familiar to anyone who has used another Anytime Fitness branch — cardio machines, strength stations, functional training gear — rather than anything unique to this particular location.

At 171 reviews and a 3.9 average, this branch's rating runs the middle of the pack for the chain in this part of the Klang Valley, not bad but not the strongest showing either. The listing requires both appointments and membership, typical for a staffed-hours gym that still offers unstaffed access outside those windows for existing members. Payment accepts credit, debit, and NFC/contactless, matching the standard set across almost every gym in this batch.

Dataran Sunway is a mixed residential-and-retail pocket of Petaling Jaya, and Sunway Nexis itself combines retail units with office and residential towers, which feeds this branch a mix of residents, office workers, and shoppers rather than any single dominant type of member. Compared with the Quill City Mall and Shaftsbury Putrajaya branches of the same chain covered elsewhere in this batch, this location's review count and rating sit on the lower end, though still within a reasonable band for the brand overall.

The listing notes wheelchair-accessible parking but doesn't mention an accessible restroom or shower, and the only amenity flagged on site beyond standard training space is a restroom — a shorter amenity list than some of the other Anytime Fitness branches in this set, which separately list showers as well. Anytime Fitness's own marketing leans heavily on coaching support and a "supportive community" framing, with personal training and small-group classes offered through the location's coaching team, though how much of that attention a given member gets will depend on which staff happen to be on shift when they visit. Being inside a mall complex also means parking and access are shaped as much by Sunway Nexis's own operating patterns as by the gym itself.
